The inimitable Academy of St Martin in the Fields return to their spiritual home in this performance of works by Bach, Brahms and contemporary Scottish composer James MacMillan. Dedicated to Clara Schumann, Brahms’ Serenade No 2 is an elegant work for chamber orchestra which stands beautifully alongside MacMillan’s wind quintet and the timeless charm of Bach’s sixth Brandenburg Concerto.

To help to get the most out of the performance, we are also delighted to offer a complimentary programme for the concert, with more details of the performers and works included. Download the programme here.
