This wildly characterful piece by John Rutter is a musical fable based on the timeless children’s classic, The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. Written in 1981, the music is witty and imaginative, with vocal soloists from St Martin’s Voices story-telling through animals from the mole to the rat, and from the toad to the badger, along with St Martin’s Players. Come and join us for the fantastical escape to the shenanigans of these characters and learn about why we should always try our best, we should try to forgive others, and hope to make the world a better place!

To help to get the most out of the performance, we are also delighted to offer a complimentary programme for the concert, with more details of the performers and works included. Download the programme here.
